I went the cheap route. I signed up for a free blogger.com account, put in a template that I found, bought a domain name and linked it. Total cost was $5 (for domain registration). I had to do some work to customize it to my liking but blogger helps you with that. I also looked into wordpress, but much more difficult to use a custom template and you have to buy your own website hosting service. With wordpress you get a lot more options for iphone developer templates:

Again, you have to pay for the themes and hosting. It's also a real pain to get up and running but the options in the back end are much more powerful than blogger.
