Device capabilities

I would like to know if thr device has GPS and/or phone capabilities so I can then grey out the "Call" and "Map" buttons in my app on devices that don't have GPS or phone capabbilities.

The system.getInfo returns the device name as it's set in iTunes on the iPhone so I cannot use that.
