i'm wondering if you are able to reveal some of the OpenAL features coming?

What i'd quite like to see is:

* pitch (play faster/slower.... presumably time-stretched pitching isn't possible?)
* pan
* seamless looping
* volume control (i know this is coming from the example posted)

Have you seen the API page lately? There's no detailed info, but the list of "coming soon" things is pretty cool. :)

I would also like to know when we can expect to see this implemented. I hate that volume in my game is tied to the ringer right now and would love to have it fixed before I release. So I'm suscribing to this thread to hopefully get an answer to that.

Seriously, I'm done with my game and just waiting for this to sort out some audio bugs. (Music suddenly starts playing at full volume and doesn't respond to volume level! That's a pretty major one right there). While I need to submit as soon as possible if I wanna make it before the end of the year (I might be too late already). So I REEEEAAALLY need to know if this is coming or not. It's ok if it's not, but please let us know, so we can plan our releases accordingly.

And while I'm at it, a twitter sample that works on iphone 4 would be nice, so I know what it's doing before blindingly copy/pasting the code in my game. (oh and let me know the device screen size while you're at it).

We are burning the disk images and doing a last minute pass... We passed all tests today... then the treacherous process of all the activities to upload to the server for you to download including all the pages that need to be updated are live and ready to go at the click of a mouse.
