I have an existing app already in iTunes. I'd like to move it to Android as well and was considering Corona.

If I develop my app in Corona, will I be able to "update" my existing app in iTunesConnect with the Corona build?

yes, you can it will be a newer version, however you will have to ensure that you set the bundle name, certificate, version number, etc appropriately.

I haven't encountered this issue myself, since I'm not trying to remake an app... but it does sound like there is a small chance you could run into the same issue, based on the comments made in that thread.
