What's your experience with Amazon AppStore?

I'm interested in submitting an app specifically for the Kindle Fire. But, so far, I just found posts describing not-so-positive experiences with the Amazon AppStore approval process. I would be interested to hear from fellow developers about your success or lack thereof getting your Corona-built apps in the Amazon AppStore. Did you succeed getting it approved? How long did it take? Did it require many modifications? Any info you could share would help a lot. Cheers!

I have 3 apps in the amazon market and none are on the Kindle fire. I have resubmitted twice from the latest build and nothing. My apps get approved but don't show up on the fire.

@alslayer: The reason your apps are approved but are not showing up on the Fire is likely due to Amazon's strange practice of doing a separate review process for the Kindle Fire.

It seems they put your app in the review queue, review it, and then put it back in the review queue to be reviewed for the Fire.

I suggest you contact Amazon to get Kindle Fire status for your app, so you know whether or not they approve of it or have rejected it. The Amazon developer dashboard doesn't seem to share that information.

@la: We have successfully submitted the Corona Indie Bundle to the Amazon Appstore so it's definitely possible. They have some unusual rules here and there but are usually pretty good about telling you what you need to fix, and generally have a good response time once you do fix the problem and re-upload.
