Hi everybody,

I recently purchased Level helper to speed up levels development, is cool i like it, but it don't work on android!
I think the problem is related to the classes instancing object and sprites, these classes use the function system.pathForFile() which doesn't currently work on system.ResourceDirectory.
So I'm asking myself what to do, everyone of you have fixed that?

Contact the developer of Level Helper. He is extremely responsive. I wasn't aware of this limitation... but was planning on building for android as well as iphone. Please post back what you find.

I contacted him, he answered me in no time but he told he has not an android device so I think he will take time to fix it, in the other hand I have not an iOs device so I'm wondering if there is any kind of hack to let system.pathForFile() work on system.ResourceDirectory.

I've experienced a similar issue with level helper and I think I can help you with yours. Please send me an Android version of your projects build so I can verify it works. If it doesn't I can see about helping you work with the code to get it working.

Creator of LevelHelper here.
I am aware of this issue and I'm working as we speak into fixing it. However i don't own an android phone and I'm going in blind into this.
I promise to have this fixed in a short time. I just need to find a hack for system.pathForFile()

To bad corona doesn't provide a fileExists method.
I have seen on the forum many people asking for it.

Hey guys, the problem has been fixed. All you need to do is go to File menu inside LevelHelper push "Download Updated Code" and regenerate the code in your Corona project.
