Can I build apps for distribution in Amazon App Store?

I'm going to purchase a Corona SDK Subscription, but I note the following lines in Asca Mobile FAQ site:-
"......
You can purchase a Corona SDK Subscription that will allow you to build apps for distribution in the App Store and/or Android Market.
......"

FAQ mentions App Store many times, I think it is referring to Apple App Store.

Can I build apps for distribution in Amazon App Store?

Yes, you absolutely can.

Take a look at this game:

That's Secret of Grisly Manor created by firemaplegames, made with Corona SDK :-)

Thanks for your quick reply :)

@qkokseong A few tips you might find handy when dealing with the Amazon Appstore.

If you are planning to put on both Android Market and Amazon, you will need to make sure the Amazon price is not higher than the Android Market price. Also because of the review it takes longer to get approved. My Bomb The Birds game takes approximately 14 days to get published.

I just saw this pop up in my Twitter feed, anyone who plans on being in the Amazon app store should definitely take a look:

Ouch!

The IGDA has serious concerns about the Amazon Appstore, and I think we all should too.

It seems like they're trying to control app pricing far beyond what any other market is doing - and it doesn't bode well for developers.

I'm not going to put anything on their store for a little while until they respond satisfactorily to a query about this.
