a new particle system for corona sdk Graffiti PS Beta Testing Begins 10-4-11

Graffiti Particle System is ready for beta testing anyone interested please email at [graffitiPS][@][gmail].[com] i'll be choosing 5 people for beta testing

hey all i've been working on a particle system to use with corona. its not as advanced as particle candy and maybe never will be but if you just needing simple and cheap this is it. multiple particle fx in different groups running separate or together. use custom images, images from spritegrabber, works with director and scenemanager, circles, squares, and text. want a simple way to have points float in any direction after a collision, clouds floating by, complete random explosions, random size and/or color bubbles floating up, directional rain, falling snow this will have you covered
create smoke, clouds, bubbles, explosions, and a whole lot more
heres a video i threw together showing a few thing

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uflyOXTCXnQ -- game using Graffiti PS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e9T25FTcfMo -- new video changed SpriteGrabber image to raindrops

Hey, this looks very cool!

Will have to check it out sometime :)

This is pretty cool. Looking forward to check it too.
Alex

thanks y'all I'll post another video later showing it used in an actual game I'm building

Graffiti is about 95% complete and will begin beta testing soon with a release of 1.0 a few weeks later provided nothing major pops up during beta testing.

here's another video of the Graffiti Particle System running in a real game.

new video posted showing raindrops using Graffiti PS
file size is only 4kb

sorry forgot to make link public
now working

Graffiti PS test results

device -- iPhone 3gs
time -- over 3 hours straight
particles -- 6 different all at same time

results -- no signs of slowing down or crashing

so it looks like ill be ready to start beta testing in the next day or two

successfully integrated into a game that was not created by me
seams very simple to me
just add a particle definition file, the graffiti file, and one line of code in your project for each particle you want
