I am using textfield but we cant set its background. So i want to add this feature for set background of textfield.

You should just put a square object behind it.

for that its not possible,i have tried so much but nothing happen.

The newtextfield is very lacking at the moment.. it works, and it's the only way to insert text using the native keyboard but it's not customizable at all.. and it's not multiline :(
BUT.. I'm pretty positive Ansca is working on that and they're going to fix it soon
