I believe Facebook works with Android, from what I've read here that is - but I'm a tad confused.

I understand that the latest FB example does not work on Android, as is specified with a comment in the main.lua file.

My question, then, is will the old Facebook API work?

If not, does this mean that we cannot currently use Facebook integration in any Android apps?

I know this isn't the most pressing issue but I do like to think ahead a bit and as I'm hoping for the physics issue to be fixed soon (Thanks again for the comment, Carlos :)) I am rather hoping that at that time I will be able to press forward with preparing Happy Doodle Sushi Smile for Android; with FB posting.

I built an app that posts to facebook with no problem on the iphone side, but the same code doesn't work on the android side I'm afraid. Did this ever get resolved?
My android app gets as far as logging into to facebook then force closes, having never actually posting the update :(

We'll be exposing Facebook on Android in the daily builds that Carlos announced in the newsletter back in December. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to integrate it into the upcoming release, but it is something I'm looking into right now!

Nice to see you around the place, it seems a little rare ^-^;

I ended up using a webpage to process the facebook posts and requests using the facebook API via the javakit SDK. It works well and takes the load off the app trying to do it on the Android side. iphone side the Corona facebook connect works well though.
