I am trying to create a page in a book when, on a timer the page lightens up. Would i be right in saying that i need two pages, one darker than the other and after a certain amount of time the alpha of the darker page decreases? Since i am still learning Corona I am not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

You could use a square or rectangle and set the opacity of the object during a transition.
