Hi, I understand that I would need a Mac - Mini in order to compile for IOS, however, wouldn't it be beneficial for Corona as well as for developers, to have a way of users like me to compile the finish application or game via the site ( server ) to IOS, instead of having to buy a Mac - Mini? Okay, I understand that this is a very naive question, but... I'm a Flash Designer/Developer that primarily working in advertising and rich media. I find Corona really intriguing, but I don't even have a smartphone. I'm an absolute noob to not only Corona, but smartphones, Twitter, and Facebook, but I think fully interactive animation of all kinds sounds awesome if it's in a full-size screen. What is the roadmap for Corona apps, games, and animation in general to reach web browsers? Is that stupid question? I'm just curious if there's any online advertising potential for Corona in the future? Hi, I am an app developer and actually read the terms & conditions for using Corona. I was a little surprised that it should not be allowed to call any outside code libraries. I wonder what is the reason behind that and also why there is no support for that in the API? It seems a little too restrictive for my taste. Hello, I'm a flash developer and recently I had a request to do a digital magazine for iPad. I'm not looking for anything like Woodwing (woodwing.com), but instead I want full control on what I'm doing. I searched the web for a while and came around to Corona. The code seems simple for someone with a flash background, and the forum seems positively active. The only problem is that manly what I see are games or small apps. I haven't saw any magazine like app. Are there any? Did anyone ever done something like that? Thanks in advance. I've asked this question a few times and I haven't received a direct response so I thought I'll ask again. Is Corona SDK build 484 suitable for basic simulator only use on OS X Lion? From what I've read, my understanding is that it is safe but I shouldn't expect to be able to build to a device. In other words, is it suitable to test my game on just the Corona simulator? Luke I am using lion and the latest daily build and building for device works fine. You will just need to download the latest version of xcode once you upgrade to lion in order to make builds. I am unsure about version 484 however. Thanks for your response, however I need to know for 484 as this determines whether I can upgrade to Lion now or have to wait until August 2. Luke 484 is NOT supported on Lion.
