Clownfish not working

I downloaded Carlos' clownfish sprite sample from http://developer.anscamobile.com/code/how-use-textures-create-notion-movement but it is not working and displays this error message on the terminal:

Version: 2.0.0
Build: 2011.288

main.lua:29: 'frameWidth' must be less than height width

I wonder if the sample works for the Windows platform or if some adjustments are needed? This seems like a nice sample and I would appreciate help getting it to work. Thanks.

Usually, this is happening because you may not have the latest OpenGL drivers with your video board.

Does your video board support OpenGL? If it does, try to get the latest drivers from the gpu vendor.

Hi Carlos,

I just updated my graphics card drivers to the following but the clown fish is still not showing up. Any ideas?

ATI Radeon HD 3650 256 MB
Driver version 2011.0104.2155.39304
OpenGL Version 6.14.10.10428

clownfish.png wont open in fireworks or photoshop in Windows

i can see a thumbnail in the dialog but it wont open. is it compressed somehow?

anyway i have uploaded a working version of the PNG here:
http://www.mediafire.com/?s84rntr542vxvsk

opening the original file in Notepad i get:

Thanks jmp909, both the clownfish and water texture movement are visible now. I had opened the original clownfish.png in gimp and thought it was okay but guess not. Wonder if there is a standard way to prepare .png images for them to always work...

not use the XMP format :P

According to Adobe, Extensible Metadata Platform (XMP) is a labeling technology that allows you to embed data about a file, known as metadata, into the file itself. More information on how partners and standards are using XMP is available at the XMP website.

There is also a XMP Toolkit SDK download.
