Phantom Probes coming soon

We submitted our new Corona game, Phantom Probes, to the iTunes Store on Friday and hopefully the review will go fine. We plan to release the game on 13 June.

The goal of the game is to guess the shapes of invisible phantom objects. Each phantom object is hit by various probes. Based on the reaction of the probes, you can guess the shape of the invisible phantom object. The probes have very realistic responses and stunning particle effects.

Features:
*50 challenging levels to solve
*100 unique phantom shapes
*20 different probes
*Realistic physics-based effects
*Amazing particle effects
*Game Center and OpenFeint enabled (10 achievements, 25 leader boards)
*Facebook and Twitter integration
*Universal app runs on iPhone, iPod touch and iPad
*Support for Android mobile devices
*Beautiful retina graphics

Amazing idea, I like it...

We decided not to wait for the iTunes Store and release the Android version of the game today:

Phantom Probes Free is available for free but limited to the first 5 levels.
Phantom probes is also available as a paid version for $0.99 with 50 challenging levels.

Once the iTunes Store reviews our iOS versions then we will release those on 13 June 2011.

Interesting idea, man that looks really tough. The big blocks are easy enough, but the heart?

On each level you can try each of the 3 different probes you help you figure out the shape of the phantom object. So if the first probe you pick makes it too difficult to figure out the shape, then just click the tab at the top and try another probe.

The other strategy is to figure out what makes each shape unique and then eliminate the other 2 shapes as candidates.

By combining the right kind of probe for the possible shapes and rotating the probe to see the reactions, you should eventually figure it out.

If all else fails, you can enable the hints which will give you a good idea of sides of the shape. For the first 2 levels the hints are on by default, but for the higher levels you have to press the bulb-like button to enable it and will be penalized 1 minute.
