Sketch Smash - Thanks Beebe Game

Hey all I have created an app in the Android and Apple App stores.

For the Droids: https://market.android.com/details?id=com.immortalinnovations.sketch

For the followers of Jobs: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/sketch-smash/id416878232?mt=8&ls=1

I want to thank Beebe games for contributing to the community with their Ghosts vs Monsters code. I heavily used this in my learning experience and incorporated much of the code in my game. Thanks.

A little background about myself: I graduated college with a Computer Science degree. I then joined the Army, did a tour in Iraq, came back, and now I'm getting out. Thanks to the great Corona community I am getting back to what I Love.

Thank you for sharing. Remember to add the app on our showcase page

A perfect example of exactly what those open-source sample apps were for :-) Thanks for the mention and best of luck on your release! It looks great!

The full version of Sketch Smash is now FREE on the IOS and Android platforms. Please rate me up and enjoy!

P.S. I should have a huge update coming out this week :)

Hello ciaphuas.

In level 3 you can smash the pencils and then the target head rolls to the left outside of the screen without ending the level or the possibility the clear the level!

I guess you have be a better or faster shot :)

Hey so how did you get your app out to the Android market? it was my understanding that those of us building on windows and for android could not distribute to the market until the SDK was out of beta for windows?

I built it with osx

Ok, so from OSX you can build both for Iphone and Android then? i thought that to build for iphone you had to be on a MAC and to build for android you had to be on a windows machine

if thats true then thats great news!

Yep Osx does both

Its apple's license requirement that their apps have to be built on a Mac. Android doesn't have any requirement. You could technically just run a virtual machine - Of course you still need the valid corona license.

Can I ask why you went free for the full version rather than have a Lite and Full? Did you put any ads in?

I plan on doing a major update later where I might add ads

I really dont want to add ads to my app, but my biggest question is does adding ads really worth it as far as profits wise? Anyone have any info on the kind of profits that its possible to make if you choose to include ads?

I don't know...but once I get ads working I'll post what I learn

Sketch Smash is number 68 on the Amazon App store for Games!

It is ahead of big name games like Guitar Hero 5 and Farm Frenzy.
