After looking at the API, it doesn't seem like there is much in the field of photo editing. Specifically in my app, I need to crop a picture taken from the camera or photo library.

For example, someone would take a picture of a face, so they would then want to crop out the background and just have the face. I thought it might be possible to put an oval shaped mask over the photo that would display only the face, but then the mask would block out the rest of the app, right?
