I saw there was at least one other person on this forum who had this issue a few weeks ago, but there was no resolution.

Our app is finished, finally. But we can't upload it to iTunes connect.

Absolutely no idea what this error means. Can't find anything here or online.

Here are the last couple of lines from the terminal:

... /Users/adamcampb/Desktop/appname.app: replacing invalid existing signature
/Users/adamcampb/Desktop/appname.app: signed bundle with Mach-O universal (armv6 armv7)[appname]

And, oh yes, this error first showed up after we installed AppLoader. So I'm assuming it has something to do with whatever checks it runs.

I haven't seen this error before personally but
"... /Users/adamcampb/Desktop/appname.app: replacing invalid existing signature" makes it sound like a signature issue.

Are you certain your certificates and profiles are all good?

I just cleared all my certs and reinstalled them. Same error.
