The above was using .484
I re-installed .366 and get the same results.
I see the Advent has :
Processor: Nvidia T20 Tegra 2
Processor speed: 1GHz
HTC has :
528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor
Is this a processor problem ?
Corona versions after 319 (daily build) only support Armv7. There is a list of v6 and v7 devices here:
https://wiki.mozilla.org/Mobile/Platforms/Android
if you're not a subscriber you'll need to use the last release - 268, otherwise use 319
Done some searching on the Advent Tegra. The processor is a Tegra 250 android 2.2. The link above shows the advent as a compatible device.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nvidia_Tegra
shows this as an arm7 device.
Any ideas?
Try rebuilding your app again with build 484 (or later). We had a problem that we fixed on our server that prevented ARMv7 devices that didn't support the NEON instruction set from working. The fix was made 4/22/2011.
Hey there,
Just to be clear, you never got the app running on your MSM7225 processor-powered HTC, right?
Nick
I got it working on the Advent but not on the HTC Wildfire.
FYI
Model no HTC Wildfire A3333
Android 2.2.1
The apps just fail to load.
Is this an ARM processor ?
The HtC device uses a processor based on the ARMv6, which is no longer supported in Corona. Because of performance reasons we only support ARMv7 processors.
