Images in a directory don't work on Android using Windows SDK

After an evening of hair pulling - I finally figured out that putting images into an images directory, works great on the simulator, but causes a blank screen with only the "this is a trial" popup showing when doing a build for Android 2.2.

Albeit a bit messy for file layout structure - putting the images into the root remedies the situation.

Hey did you see this thread from last night (my time)?

http://developer.anscamobile.com/forum/2011/02/09/cant-load-image-documents-directory

Is it the same issue? How about my situation where I download an image at run-time so I can't put it in the apps root directory? I'll have to do a big work-around in my case as I don't have the images beforehand.

I just had a look at your thread and tested out your google image grabbing code on my device. Works fine on the simulator - but a blank screen and after a short while, the trial popup window appears. Looks very similiar to the symptons I was experiencing with my problem of the images not being in the root.

android does not support images in a directory -

it is a known issue

Wasn't known to me, but it is now :-)

Regarding 'known' issues, how do we find out about them and their status?

Trying to use: https://developer.anscamobile.com/project/issues/ to get a list of bugs and their status - how can I get to view all the bugs in progress, nothing seems to be returned regardless of what I search for.

I tried searching for "image" to bring up image related bugs, any status, any priority, any category (don't know a project so left it blank, I expect it to search all projects) Is this issues page actually working?
