I built a game using the new 591 build.

One thing I noticed is that now the VersionName is 1.0 ... is there a way to change this.

In any case, some people with certain phones are complaining that the link to the app in their application section/folder no longer goes to the app. They have to open market and then click the "open" button to run the app from there.

I'm wondering if the VersionName is causing the issue. In any case, the people that seemed to have the issue have droid phones. There might be other phone types involved. I'm talking to more users.

Any help or insights would be appreciated.

Update: People seem to say the application icon works when they reboot their phone.

I am seeing the version name issue with the newest build (591) as well.

I've tried setting versionName to "2.0.1" in the build.setting file with no luck. I know that hasn't worked before, but I figured I would try.

I've tried removing the versionName setting and use versionCode set to "9" in build.settings and also set the Version number to 9 in the build dialog. No matter what I try, the version name is "1.0" in the Android Market and Amazon AppStore as well.

This isn't a major issue, but it could be confusing to the end users.

I didn't have any issues with the app icon not working or updating.
